Caravan Servicing
At Read Caravans we pride ourselves on offering the best aftersales
service in the industry. We have been a member of the Approved
Workshop scheme since July 2000, (we were the first members in
Lancashire) and we have won numerous Customer Care Awards from
both Bailey and Avondale for customer care. In 2003 and 2004,
we were the only Avondale Dealership in Lancashire to be awarded
the highest Gold Level for aftersales service and we were 8th
overall in the UK!
The Approved Workshop scheme ensures that servicing is carried
out in accordance with the caravan manufacturer's guidelines
and The National Caravan Council's "Full Service Schedule". The
service is a comprehensive 60 point check list and also includes
a free full Damp Test.

The majority of our services are completed and ready for collection
within the same day with prior arrangements when making your
booking. This is why we are usually 3 weeks booked up in advance,
so please book in early to avoid disappointment.
On the 2nd November 2004 the winner of Dealer of the Year for
the whole of the north of England. This award is given for outstanding
aftersales and service.
As a result of our committment to our customers our business
has gone from strength to strength and we now have an 8 bay Service
and Warranty Repair Workshop plus a 6 bay Insurance and Damp
Repair Workshop. We have spent hundreds of thousands of pounds
on both these workshops and this investment has gone towards
research and development as well as training and tooling. We
believe that if a tool can make a job quicker or easier, it means
our engineers are working more efficiently (smarter). This saving
in time is then passed onto you. Both our Workshops are the best
equipped in Lancashire and second to none.

Even though our business keeps growing and developing we do

but we do not service or repair motorhomes, folding campers or
trailer tents, just touring caravans.
Please note : as of 2nd January 2007 there will be
a charge of £15 a day storage for caravans which do not collect
when arranged. This is to overcome the problem of customers
not collecting when they agreed, causing congestion on site.
